this carb has been sitting around for years.... everybody who sees it wants it...  i thought i would share pictures.. i used to run it on my 66 GTO...(long gone)

Bruce Dorsi

Was there an OEM application for this carb, or was it aftermarket only?

hmm....

not an OEM application, but it was designed  for a "stock car"...

i would think the left turners would know what this is....

it came with fuel hogging #83 jets....

when i ran it on my gto.. it got like 6 mpg... but every stop sign was a drag race...

and ... it is just a two barrel....

Wayne ....That's a 650CFM "annular discharge" Holley 2BBL..     If I remember correctly they were popular in the Roundy-Round cars ( early 70's ish)  for "2BBL classes...Then everybody started restricting 2BBL classes to 500 CFM ...That some genuine E-Bay fodder ...I'd post that thing in a heartbeat  :!:  :!:  :!:

looks like it was born in may of 1977.... that makes it about right.... the guy i got my gto from  bought it new in 1979 or so....

i dont think it will ever be on ebay...  once in a while i get grand plans on putting on one of my cars or a friends car...    it never makes it off the shelf...or out of the box it's stored in.,... it will go on my 70 302 ranchero one of these days.... i did have a circle track racer who really wanted to buy it a while back...   i just figured it would end up being spotted in tech and taken...

i just thought i would share the photos as this is a rare beast...

I gurantee it will overcarburate & cause driveability issues on anything less than less than 1100 Cu. In. ......A 50cc accelerator pump shot was about 30% of the volume those things needed....

what's really funny it is ran really well... i had it on the 326 and on the 350 pontiac motors...  talk about throttle response ....

i never did get it on the 408 rat that i ended up having in the gto...  it had a Qjet highrise  manifold and carb...

i guess i will have to clean it up and put it on my 302... and try it..

oh... and the 50cc pump is for 10 pumps... not each pump ... just like the 30 cc pumps on every other holley...
