'Been a while since I posted any progress on my project.  Today I rolled it out in the sun to let the body cure some more before it goes to paint next month.  I have begun wiring the gauges and have run the battery cables, installed the battery box and made an overhead console...in addition to installing the engine and finishing some body work on the tail lights, etc.  'Hope to have it on the road some time this summer.

Looking Good! I really prefer the look of the 5-Window over the 3....Whos body are you using and are you happy with it?

Thanks, it has been a long time coming.  Body is from New Age Motorsports.  It's OK, they all take a certain amount of fussing with before they're ready to paint.

I wanted a 5-window, but let myself get talked into a 3 window

Bravo! You are almost there. Congrats! It looks like you have the same front suspension I have--you will like the way it drives.

I have no problems with buggy spring front ends. My previous street rod had a dropped I beam with a Mustang steering box, and it drove fine. What I really like about the IFS is the rack and pinion steering. As far as ride goes, there is not a lot of difference.
