Hi all,

Is there a list online that compares the different configurations of oil pans available for small block Chevies since '55?

This is the second finned aluminum oil pan I've bought and none fit my new 350 crate engine... Aarghhhh!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of such a list but it could exist. As far as I do know there is only one fitment for those alum. pans and that is the older engines with 2 pice rear seals.

You need the early chevy style left side pan and then you will have to get fancy with the right side gasket. I had one on my coupe but I changed it later on back to the stock pan.. Now that ive said that thats assuming you have the generic up to like 85 8 1/2 to one small block 4 bolt main replacement . If not then I cant help you.. There is only 2 style aluminum pans that i knosw of and they are right and left side dip stick style
