i don't know what to offer... sees like a lot for a 64 chevy that is not optioned out and completely restored to 90+points....

living in so cal.. that car is a fav or the low riders...  and you can almost not have one... one of the local shop owers here had one... kept it in the back of his shop.... bad guys cut through the steel tube gates..broke into the shop and moved 7 cars to get to it... they did not even bother stealing the snap on tools or boxes that were there...

please if you do spend twice or 3 or 4 times what that car is worth... check the vin numbers on it....including the ones under the chrome door sills in the door jam... drivers side..   there may be one on the trunk lid... but from canada... it might have been changed to remove rust... and you are taking a bondo magnet /paint thickness tester??????

and having it come from  canada.... i would have him bring it across the border to sell it to ya... and pay a few bucks at a local highway patrol office to verify the vin...

autotrader used to have a pricing guide compiled from their ads... on how much cars are being listed for...

he just might be fishing for a really big fish....    since at every stop sign he gets ask if it is for sale...and when the answer is not 500 bucks... he is told it is worth more than it really is...  and he is going to see if some rich american is going to spend it...

now these  are just my opinion.... i have not idea what the guy is thinking... but i bet it is pretty close....

wayne... very opiniated... even if i cannot spelll it this early on a sunday morn...

Check the frame as I think they were prone to serious rust in the center.  Jeff

I saw one like that in Georgia for $11,500.

Man, those were so plentiful in the early 70's, I could have picked one up in GREAT shape for $400 back then!

Nice looking car though! I always wanted one. There's something so simple about them, but yet they are a cool car.

Enjoy!

I'm jealous no matter what you paid for it.

Guess I'm just a sucker for a good looking rear quarter.
