Are there patterns for the glass on my 32 Ford pickup hiding out there in cyberspace some where? I gave up on the glass guy i had ordered from in December and I'm ready to tackle this myself.

go to the building supply and get some 1/4 luan or i like the hardboard for bathroom floors . The stuff with all the x's for nailing.. Make your own patterns go to the local glass shop and have em cut.. I have all the model a patterns but nothing for 32's on up.. I just make em..

or you could fold a piece of heavy paper in half, get one side close with a pencil and cut it and unfold it, if your a little short here or there use masking tape to add to it...Thats the cheap way...
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Check out www.classicflatglass.com , they have the patterns from the 20's up, as well as glass kits.

On Glass cars (well on mine ) the left door and right are not the same.
You need to make a pattern for each side.
Good luck it took me about 4 times to get it right
So they would go up and down right. Then i took them to the glass house to have them cut me the glass

Bill is doing this on his 32 truck so it should be real easy .. I just had glass put in my roadster windshield frame and i just dropped it off at the glass shop and 96 bucks later it was ready  I could have made a pattern but i didnt. Bills side windows are pretty much like a model a so i would guess a couple 3 measurments and some board and some cutting and all should be good. My 32 coupe already had the side glass so i just made a pattern from 1/4 luan for the front and rear and had the glass shop cut them.. I like the wood pattern best. I still have patterns in the attic in the garage ... The problem with 32 and 34 coupe stuff is the side windows arent straight and its a pia to make the patterns like you said but its gotta be done  Bills side windows are straight sided so id guess 1/2 hour and id have the patterns ready.
