I'm looking for the white plastic insulator on this plug wire. These are for an LT1. I am having to make up a custom set of wires, and can't find them. Anyone have a source? part number?

I found some locally, a tech I know has some.

Glad you got some Frank.  I'm curious to learn how difficult they are to install.  We install them by machine, but I didn't know if they were serviceable in the field or not.  I bet it's murder getting them back out.

Let me know please.  I'm considering adding it to our line.  By the way, the insulators are included in most of our premium wires, but not on the low cost brands.

The first one took a while, after that the rest were not bad. I pushed them on after the end was crimped using a piece of tubing. The crimp has to be perfect for them to fit.

The tech I got them fron had them because "he never uses them", so much for dealer service.

I would hate to install the wires with the engine in the car.
