hydraulic ps powered engine cooling fans...??????

something i saw a long time ago.. a engine cooling fan that was powered by the powersteering pump.. it seemed to have a thermostatic control in it somehow..

it was on a japaneese car of some kind...

93 camry v6 has them ..   again just a thought...

The mercedes unimogs have them too,it was the first hydraulic powered fan I seen.

Any class A motorhome you see with the radiator mounted on the side of the coach rather than behind the engine has a hydraulic fan drive assembly.
