there was a link on the sema site and the dynacorn classicbodys web site had one also about how to register the start from scratch cars...

as for getting stuff across the border....rembember the johnny cash song.. one piece at a time....

or the alternate lyrics.. just one piece at a time sweet roadster.. just one piece at a time.. goin to smuggle it right under the mountys noses just one piece at a time..

as for the vin. number... why not hide it with some creative  cooling.. a peltier junction under the dash... keeps a block of ice where the vin should be... that should slow them down... at least until they get out a blow torch...

So what are the laws in canada ? If you cut it up small enuff to fit in a shopping bag can you just drive it thru ?  Im sure there is a way to get it there .. Im near Detroit and ive got a buddy with a boat  and its just a t bucket .. Im sure we could get it there.. Hey winter is comming we could tow it behind a snowmobile..  8)

This is the official word on bringing a car into Canada:

http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/importation/impusae.htm

Almost sounds like the T would be classified as a kit car.  Might be best to contact the above and verify what their ruling would be.

this is the link that you will need. even thought its on the BC page

http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/importation/VAFUS/list/VAFUS.pdf

check out page 6 or sec 2....   not having a title is probably a killer at the border... it would belong to the tow yard until it is sold to the scrap dealer...

when i went to register my moms 70 f250 in washington state they almost put me in handcuffs.  the vin number on the top of the right frame rail was not there... they accused me of tampering with it... cutting it out and replacing it ...at least until i pointed out that the frame was just as it has been.. factory almost gone paint.. and i pulled out 20 years of california registrations...     they did find the second stamping on the rear of the frame rail....

does the t bucket have a factory frame?????   if not it will be a kit car...and probably not allowed......

I live in BC and the word seems to be that you can't bring a car in that has a glass body, period.  You can bring "parts" in but not a completed car. I'd check with customs to make sure, but a couple of guys here have checked and were told NO.
