N00b intro

Howdy folks. Just wanted to introduce myself before I become a lurker

I've been primarily a jeeper for a while, with an 82 Cherokee and an 88 Grand Wagoneer. I just sold the 82 so I could buy a 1950 Ford sedan with a rebuilt flathead. I have yet to see the 50, just got lots of pictures. It'll be here in a couple weeks. It's in primer with some rust on the floorboards, but otherwise good shape.

I plan on a mild build on the Ford, probably keeping it pretty close to stock for the first "fun" car I've had since my 67 Mustang in high school. After this one's built, who know's what I'll end up with, a rat rod Model A pickup sounds like fun . . . .

I'm sure I'll be here often asking for advice, sounds like there's a lot of great info here. Anyone here around Santa Fe?

Thanks for the welcome. And yeah, I'm outside of Santa Fe. I try not to admit that I'm anywhere near that town, but sometimes I have to. And most of the Texan's we get around here ain't from Amarillo, so I can accept knowing at least one from there
