Hi all.  I'm new to the KC area.  What's the best route to take to get to Springfield, MO?  71?  65?  or what?

Take 71 south 'till you get about 2 miles south of Harrisonville.
exit on highway 7 and take it to Clinton, then take highway 13 south in to Springfield. That's the best and fastest route.
There's some construction on 71 which I don't think will EVER end, but once you get off that mess, you'll be fine.
The fairgrounds is only a couple blocks north of I-44, so get in the left turn lane of hwy13 when you see the Springfield city limit sign, then turn left on Norton road. Take Norton rd. a couple blocks, and you'll see it on your left.

Hey couper, thanks for the info.  I've been to Springfield many times, but always from the west.  I know exactly where you're leading me.  Sounds good.
