Yeah, it could be saved.  Scrap the frame and build a longer one, chop the top, lose the tiny headlights and the eyebrows, and generally put the car more into proportion.  Most of the essentials look savable, but he just missed the mark on the balance.  Way too stubby and out of proportion.

Wheels look good, but the front axle setup is the major offender.  Needs either a spring over setup or suicide to stretch it out.  Steering column and wheel would be first thing to hit the dumpster if I bought it.

The price isn't bad for a '32 pickup cab with a good title and a decent engine and transmission. But I sure dislike undoing someone's work and then doing it over again. Twice the work, twice the headaches.
