trackster

A few years ago I bought one from Danny's Rod Shop here in Ohio. It is not a dash mount, but is a thin (maybe .050") piece of rubber or plastic or something that is sort of oval shaped and just sticks on the windshield by static or whatever.  I have it up against the top windshield frame and offset to the right of the inside mirror.  It is ribbed also like a fresnel lens (I think that is what they are called)and works good. I think it was about $15, but not sure.
I am CDO, kinda like OCD, but in alphabetical order, like it should be!

Don't know that I'd want to ride with the guy who wrote this discription. He doesn't know if he's coming or going. To help see if you have a continental kit on the car? :?:

These were used with the visor or continental kit on older cars, so you could see the traffic light up above  blocked by the visor.

When I got my '40 Chevy Sedan, there was one on the dash. It does work well. I bought one of the kind Speedway sells to use in the HHR bacause the top is like inside a chopped car. It worked until the suction cup came loose from the windshield and I have not put it back up there yet.

Here is a picture that shows the one in the '40:

A street rod is a vehicle made before 1949 that is modified with modern stuff: bigger motors; newer trans; updated suspension, front & rear; a/c.
Following is a street rod plus definition: No known definition because it changes.

Thanks again to everyone for the comments and input. I appreciate it.

I ordered one of them suction cup type from Speedway.
I really don't wanna drill a hole in my dash to "hard" mount one.  :(

We'll see, when the UPS dude shows up 8)

Thanks again

You did not have a space between the word "this" and the start of the web address. It should have been "this http://someaddress " and not " thishttp://someaddress " I fixed the original post but left it alone in your reply as well as this one.
