It's at the local hospital. I signed the contract this morning. Twelve weeks, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Starts tomorrow in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at 1:00 and they want me to be early on the first day. This surely is going to cut into my free time. I'll have to have another colonoscopy on my own time and they probably won't even give me Presidents Day off. I already have at least one conflict. Linda has be schedualled for some Wellness Seminar at a church near by but they'll have to save me by noon so that I'll have time to eat before work. I hope April 11 is the last day so that I won't have to miss the Ford Museum. This certainly cuts into my Swanton Tour time. GPster    P.S. I don't know if I'll have to take a drug test. They'll have to tell me which one they want to test for.

Over time already (not to be confused with O.T.)! Today I went for a prescreening for a colonoscopy next Thursday (schedualed around my Wednesday and Friday trips to re-hab. They want me to stop taking the medicine (plavix) the heart doctor gave me last month.   They don't want my blood won't so thin that it pours out every hole. I just got home and the phone was ringing. They want me to go through diabetic councelling. Yesterday at rehab they checked my blood sugar while I was on the first machine and it was 65 (70 to 130 range). They made me sit down, drink orange juice and eat crackers with peanut butter on them. I missed the next 3 machines. That put me on the list for counceling ($175.00). It's hard to believe that this is the same hospital that wanted to give me a shot of insulin and send me home after the emergency squad brought me in in 2000 with blood sugar above 900. I guess I'll live through it. GPster

Dam Joe... I guess i did good cause i didnt have to eat crackers and peanut butter. In fact on my graduation day i went to the bar with some good looking rehab chicks.. (ya ok sue was there too) but i did go to the bar and rode the harley there.. Man good luck.. its gotta get better ..
Dave

ps: im on plavix too and toprol and lipitor and zetia and on and on .. with my 1 asprin and vitamin i take 6 or 7 pills in the morning and 1 at night.
