Hurt me terribly to see Studebaker absorb Packard, the first garage I worked for was run by an ex Packard dealership shop manager.

I see it. Actually the stealing has been going on for a long time, the Hawk looked like it did in 57 because of Mercedes

I think if you talked to the designer of the Studebaker nose he would tell you that that is the way he wanted to go with the bullet on the '49 - '50 Fords and they wouldn't let him. GPster

If I remeber my facts correctly from when I was in the Studebaker Drivin Club The Ford designer and the Studebaker designer was the same person. He went from Ford to Loweywho was doing Studebaker before '53. GPster
