Only bought just one?  if I had kept a couple of them I wouldn't be buying her cars all the time.

Yea I found a black coupe I really wanted and was probably a better car(cost a whole lot more too), but if I procrastinate enough and not install jump seats, it will be just me and the wife with no grandkids going to shows--fat chance of that happening though.

A street rod is a vehicle made before 1949 that is modified with modern stuff: bigger motors; newer trans; updated suspension, front & rear; a/c.
Following is a street rod plus definition: No known definition because it changes.

Just got back from Sec. of States office...with plates for my '40 (46) truck project. It's been about a six year build and I'm finally goona be able to legally drive the thing.  I plan on putting some miles on this weekend and hope nothing breaks, in two weeks we have our local annual Cruise Night and i can finally get my truck out there for it. People have been asking for years "where's that truck you're building?"

EDIT:  The Brown truck droipped off my chrome front shocks just as I finished typing this original post...It's gonna be a good weekend!

I'm still knee deep in fiberglassing my T body.  I got the seat risers glassed in yesterday, and have started sanding the rest of it.  I think the itching phase is coming to an end, and that really makes me happy.

I also got to help my Son work on his '29 RPU yesterday.  Usually it is a one man operation for him, but he is doing some stuff where he needs an extra pair of hands.  We bent up the driveshaft hoops, and also the 18 gauge tin to cover it up.  Then he welded it all in place.  Now he can move on to the tunnel over the transmission.  This puts him real close to being finished.

Here is a picture of where we ended up last night.

I know what ya mean :(

I'm gonna catch alot of crap for this.........but WTH, I gots broad shoulders

when I was doing alot of 'glass work, I would take an old pair of panty hose, yes, panty hose, and rub them over my arms and face, any area that was exposed to the 'glas dust. they would hook onto the little 'glass shards and pull them out of my skin. worked great 8)

no, Bry and Dave-O, they weren't MY panty hose. :!:
no Ugly, they were nylon, not wool
and Frank, fishnets just don't work the same

Yep, I've been told about the pantyhose trick, but since I'm presently single I would have to buy a new pair, and I just can't bring myself to go through the checkout line with them.       Funny that I would rather suffer with the itches than do that, huh?   :D  :D

This thread is going downhill fast, and I'm not the cause of it. I'm glad others are taking the heat off of me... :D

When I was stationed in Alaska, we used to wear them when we went to the field. It got down near -30 to -40 some nights, and they do keep you warm.

Of course for Vance to shop for them, he'd have to get the ones that come in the ostrich sized egg. Sheer for the Rear. Yeah. Like putting saran wrap on a hippo.

Hey Vance, David Lee Roth said it best: We like the way the line runs up the back of your stockings...    :?
