Quote from: "Topsterguy"Attaboy Dave! I don't have a "radio" in my roadster or coupe................don't need one, the CAR makes the tunes!

I agree the car can make tunes. But get in it and drive 500-900 mi a day or more alone and you might change your mind

I gotta agree with you about that sometimes , but I've got 30,000+ miles on it so far without one and it hasn;t really bothered me..........but Y'never know!

Hey just got my fellow pages now all I need is the magazines to start rolling in. A mate Franky from Darwin is in Alaska at the moment so have given him a couple of contacts. He didn't know about the NSRA so he will be joining soon.

When my '40 got on the road after being street rodded, folks started looking for the stereo and asking where it was at. Didn't have one as I was concentrating on just getting it on the road under it's own power. Then after a couple of years, I bought a stereo. Put it in the car and now since I have no insulation inside, except for the floor under the carpet (which is indoor/outdoor from Home Depot), you can't hear the stereo. That is when you can get a station to come in. Bought (wasted money) one of those anteneas that do not work. But now I have discovered how to get sound out of the speakers..xm satelite radio. A/C is hooked up to two vents, heat only works in the Summer naturaly. I kept my factory air (i.e. cowl vent) and I am glad I was able to do that because it still is nice to have on mild days.

A street rod is a vehicle made before 1949 that is modified with modern stuff: bigger motors; newer trans; updated suspension, front & rear; a/c.
Following is a street rod plus definition: No known definition because it changes.

Any chance they have setup online 'real' pre-registration so the event hotel activity and goodybag pickup can be bypassed?

Also any chance they've got a 'season pass' purchase available?

Grandadeo

Thanks for the tip on the on-line Fellow Pages signup.  Just filled it out, except for the contribution part.  I'm in it most years but miss the deadline once in a while.

I don't think you'll ever see a "bypass" of the host hotel. Because you need to show your membership card & sign the book. You'ld be amazed at how many people every year try to come in on somebody elses membership!

As for your "season pass" idea - I have wrote that down and will bring that up at the next Divisional Meeting. :)
