Hi All:

Thought I would post an introduction before I started asking a million dumb "New Guy" questions.

I just purchased a 1958 Chevy Biscayne 4-DR, C-Dan.  Although I have loved Street Rods, Drag Racing for years, I was never in position to own one for one reason or another till now.

I have a friend helping me get the car finished and showing me the ropes.

Here is a picture of my FAMILY C-DAN

I am looking forward to talking cars and rods with all of you.  I am also hoping you guys can aid me in finding parts, having an one year car makes it difficult to find parts.  I am hoping there is another 58 guy or two out there.
Would plastic be okay for you today?

NO, there is one guy in Texas that calls me to tell me I am an Idiot for wanting to buy an old car, and he keeps telling me this story about an old bull and a young bull and them wanting to "service" all the cows    I am still not sure how that relates to cars?

Welcome to the board.  Nice to see another '58 show up.  Doesn't look like your car needs too many parts.
