Perhaps in some reference book such as a Hollander.I have the 400 out of my 68 Firebird to cosmetically freshen up the engine/motor bay.I removed all of the bracketry/pulleys/misc pieces to sand blast and repaint them. After re-assembling everything I noticed the waterpump and power steering pulleys line up perfectly but are about 1/2 a groove or about 3/16" off from the drive pulley on the harmonic balancer. It may have been like this from the factory and I just never noticed it but I doubt it.I am the second owner,I purchased the car in 1970 with 7K miles so am fairly certain this is the original pulley though I have had the motor out/apart various times over the years. It is out to far so to correct it,I'll have to shim out the alternator and water pump. Before I do this,I want to make certain I have the correct pulley. The GM # is 481037-YA As always,Any help greatly appreciated!
