A grand time at Speedy Bill's Museum

Anita and I had a great day. Thanks everyone. I felt bad because Bob brought his car and I wimped out. The tour was outstanding with John as a guide. Very interesting and knowlegdeable guy. He is also a hands on curator( grease under the fingernails). Can't wait to go again. I believe he said there is 120,000 sq. ft. in the museum and they try to change something daily.
Mike Cotner said he hasn't been getting anywhere on his car. Has been working 7 days a week. It was good to see him. We also followed him to Culvers for lunch(thanks Daryle) and then to  Bob's(34 ford).
Bob is well organised. A very nice shop to work in. Enjoyed checking out his car in progress. A very neat job and cool ideas. Bob tell your wife thanks for making Anita and Sue feel right at home.
As for the group picture. What can be said. It was Johns fault or Maybe I never smile and always have my nose in the air. If the last part is true than John did a good job. :?

I have to agree with everything that has been said so far about the whole Saturday experience.  It was a great time for both Sue and me.

Great museum tour (thanks John and Speedy Bill),  
great tour of Lincoln (thanks Mike C),  
great lunch (thanks Daryle),  
great shop tour (thanks Bob and your wife),  
great weather (well ok, it is still March here in the midwest, but it won't be long now...).

We've been to the museum at the track in Indy (http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/museum/) and the Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg museum in Auburn, IN (http://www.acdmuseum.org/) and I'd say this one is right up there with the best of them.  It has something for everyone, not just cars.  I'd go again for sure.
