Hey, Vance!
Congratulations!  It looks great!  I like the flames, whose idea was that?  How does Donna like them?
Did you cut the rear springs?  I'm getting some rubbing on hard acceleration.  I don't know where it comes from.  Perhaps I will have to go to smaller tires.
Remember; Physics explains everything!

Sean

Looks good.

What did you do for the ghost flames? Extra flake? Or mist a different color on it?

rumrumm

Very striking color. I like it. I am also curious about the flame. Please post another photo so we can see them.

Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I\'ve traveled a long way and some of the
roads weren\'t paved.

Looks great! Sure does take a long time to get to this point, doesn't it?
Tom..

the ghost flames were shot with silver "color blender" with a little bit of silver pearl mixed in. after the base coat was finished, we mixed a little color blender with a "pinch or two" of silver pearl. the photos don't do it justice.

once I get it back home I'll shoot more pix in natural sunlight.

Donna loves the color, she picked it out.

the ghost flames were my idea, I like the subtle flames.

thanks for the input everybody.  really appreciate it. 8)  :D  8)

Looking good Vance. Can't wait to start putting some color on mine. On the C M C car I build back in 93 I put a set of heidt's dropped spindles on the front and it added a nice rake to the car if you have the clearance to do that. Here a picture of it. I have a picture similar of that picture of your car on the trailer headed for the paint shop. Have to see if I can find it and scan it. Brought back a lot of memories.

EMSjunkie

Cool looking 'beast Bob!!  8)  :D

I don't have the clearance up front for dropped spindles.
I am running 14" wheels up front and 15" out back.

John, I didn't cut the rear springs, I finally wound up using a set of
300# rear springs I got from Speedway for my stock car.

they work great.

should be able to bring it home Tuesday. then the color sanding begins. :x

Thanks everybody for the comments. I really appreciate it.

Kenny, maybe we should start an RRT '34 club.  :?
