It's been over 40 years since I've replaced a clutch and that was on my '55 Ford convertible. Fairly easy job at the time.

I'm going to be needing a replacement clutch for my Nissan truck fairly soon and I have a question.

Do you normally machine the flywheel when you do a clutch job?

TIA for your comments.

Oh, and happy Valentiine's Day girls!!!

If you want maximum life from the new clutch, then yes, you should grind the flywheel.
