Frank I'm trying to reuse the hose I had made up for my other P/S rack, but I can't find a ferrule for the hose end.
The local Napa store has changed the type of hose and fittings they use so they no longer stock parts like I have.

Can you tell me if this is a Weatherhead hose end?
The ferrule was a double angle ferrule, it had an angle on each end

Thanks

It looks like a Weatherhead fitting. The parts store may have changed the hose series they use. If you have an industrial hose store near you, they should have what you need.

Yeah, that's part of the problem with living out in the boonies. No stores close.

I finally just made a new adaptor to screw into the Saginaw pump and had a Gates hose made.
I found a store in St.Louis that would sell me the compression ferrule but wouldn't mail it to me.
I figured rather than drive 140 miles round trip to pick up a 68 cent ferrule I would just go the route that I did.
I'd rather spend an hour on the lathe than 3 hours on the road.
Got it back together today and it seems to work well.
Oh well, living in the boonies does have other advantages.

Thanks

If I had known you have a lathe, I would have told you to make your own to begin with. :D
