Back when I started making parts, I would make a pattern, and mark the material I was using with however many parts I needed, all laid out the same. I found however, that when I needed these parts to be bent for left and right, too often I would bend them both the same way, and end up with two rights, or two lefts. And when I would make a third part, as often as not, I would bend that one wrong too. :shock:

So now I have gotten into the habit of laying out the parts as mirror images, marking the bend lines, and wether they are bent up or down. I still screw one up now and then, but not as often. :lol:

I mark one side of the pattern as left and the other as right and still screw it up every now and then. Hint...never keep the evidence.
