Hi,
The tranny in the 46 ,it's a 200 r4 has started a small drip out of the shaft thats used to change gears.
Is this just an O ring or a GM only packing?
Thanks

There is a seal in there. You can buy a tool to change the seal without disassembling the trans.

As I recall, there is an O ring on the rambler trans, but I think you have to pull the shaft out to fix it

D&E automotive products 6110 merger drive, holland ohio 419 861 3839 Merger comes off Holland Sylvania just north of Airport. they have the seal, and the tool.

I'd offer to let you use mine, but I don't have it, it's loaned out to another buddy. Along with a bag of seals
