I recently bought a 63 chevy pickup stepside.  The question is when the wheel started making some noise we took it all off to find that the spindle and the bolt that goes through the master cylinder was stripped completely and I was wondering where I could find a replacement.  I need to fix it a quick and as cheap as I can.  (college student)  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

To the world you\'re just one person; but to one person, you might be the world.

You need to either post some pictures or look at a repair manual to correctly identify the parts you're having trouble with.

The master cylinder is no where near the spindles on a '63 Chevy pickup.

what i was saying was the bolt that goes into the spindle that held on the master cylinder and went through a plate was completely stripped and I couldn't find a replacement, but never mind about it yall I finally found one that worked off of a 65.  Eventually now I will just swap the front end and go with disc brakes instead.

I think what you should be saying is the wheel cylinder. The master cylinder is the one on the firewall that sends fluid to thw four wheel cylinders. It has control of the four smaller ones hense the name master. GPster

OK I think I follow. You are looking for a brake shoe anchor pin. If so then the only place you are going to find it is in a salvage yard as I have found noone that makes it in the aftermarket.
