Edlebrock carb help. ANyfans of these things out there?

Wow! Lots of good info here/ Sorry but I haven't been able to get to my computer for a few days so I haven't been able to respond. I'll work on some oof thjese suggestions tomorrow. BTW, My engine is stock other than the intake and carb. The carb is the electric choke version.

I've adjusted the idle screws to give me the maximum vacuum at idle and the thing runs very good -

I thought the proper way to set that was to turn the idle mix in until the vacuum drops then back it off a 1/4 turn?

Steve, I set the accelerator pump like you said and I think that may have done it. I can't smell gas when in cruise mode anymore. I'll need to get my buddy to follow me and check for smoke, but I think you hit the nail on the head. Thanx
