Poor Boy Rear Disc Brakes ?????

One of my computer illiterate friends asked me if I would ask you, the cream de la cream of all street and hot rodders this question:

Is there a way to adapt disc brakes to the rear of a 68 Camero?  The car has a 12 bolt rear and the owner would like to convert to rear discs if a low cost, salvage yard sourced option is available.

79 to 85 Toronado, or Riviara rear disc brakes will bolt on. both the rotor and backing plate.
