I just changed the broken exhaust manifold on my brother's 1983 Monte Carlo.  I sold him the car near 6 years ago.

I bought the car from the original owner with 110k miles on it.  The car now has 235k miles on it..... I replaced the 305cid engine when the car had 148k miles on it

The photo shows the broken exhaust manifold that I had to remove the studs.  I needed the studs for the replacement manifold tomslik sent me for the cost of shipping.

The studs spun out easily after I shot them with some PB  blaster.

Hard to believe the manifold has 235k miles on it and is 22 years old (cept it is broken)

thanks tomslik... it fit perfect.

Tom sent this manifold near a year ago... my brother moves very slow , so I R&R the manifolds.  Fixed about 12 other items too.

involving certain beasts of burden.
