I have a Model A with 350/350. I have a Mr. Roadster 4" dropped tube axle with hair pins. There are no spring perches. I am looking for suggestions on lower shock mounts. Has anyone used friction shocks or lever shocks on a setup like this? If you used tube shocks, what did you use for lower shock mounts?

Thanks. :?:

are  you running a behind the axle mount?
they have a shackle for the spring that has a tab with an extra hole in it,Speedway cares them that the lower spring mount right on it.

Unfortunately it is spring over axle.  The spring pivots are welded to the top of the axle and the hairpins are connected to a mount that is welded to the axle.

My roadster has the same front axle setup.  I bought a set of brackets from Speedway, just like are welded to the axle to mount the hairpins.  I cut/ground off part of them and mounted them to the hairpin bolt holes,   where the hairpins bolt to the bracket welded to the axle, with part of them sticking up with a bolthole above the hairpins.  Had to use longer bolts thru hairpins/brackets.  Hooked up lever action shocks to the new bracket.  I am running cross steering so welded panhard bar bracket to one side also.  I'm not good @ explaining things, send me an E-mail to Eddie_Bell@msn.com and I will send you a picture.
