Brake return spring question

So, does everybody have and/or need a return spring set up on the brake pedal? Other then guarantee that the pucks aren't dragging what else might it assure? .....Frank

Thats all its for Frank. It makes sure the M/C is fully returned.

And by returning the M/C all the way it also uncovers the fluid recharge ports that allow fluid to get to the piston from the reservoir.  Without that your pedal can get lower and lower as the pads wear and the caliper pistons extend farther.
