Curing belt chirp -- Looking for a sure-fire remedy.

we have used wax, very temporary, bees wax better and rozen like what is used for violin, I have when possible sand blasted the pulley and  blast seems to be the best ed ke6bnl

A little off the subject, but not too far . . . WD40 attacks natural rubber.
Not sure how it works on neoprene rubber and the like, but I wouldn't trust it there either.
(I still use WD40, but I'm real careful about what I put it on.)

I had a little Schuco racer from the 1940's that was buried in mud when my house flooded.
As part of the clean-up we hosed the little car out and sprayed it down with WD40.
Couple of days later, checked it to see how it was doing.
The tires were sogged into the counter it sat on and now looks like it has 4 flats.

Still got it though, motor works, just don't go far with 4 flats.
