It should work with no problem. I would suggest a new dual master cylinder be installed.

Welcome to RRT! Tell us alittle more about the truck, engine rearend, ect.
Master cyclinder under the floor or on firewall?

I don't have to have a booster, you can upgrade a stock brake system with a newer master cyclinder.  You can also add disk brakes to your truck requiring a different master cyclinder and p-Valve, a booster just makes effort easyer.

iamb running a mustang II with 9 inch after market rotors.
9 inch ford rear with drum brakes 350 gears.
350/700hr4 combo.
all brake components are brand new.
going to run the master cylinder on the fire wall.
thanks again

you don't have to run a booster, but if the pedal pressure is to hard change the pedal itself. You can make it longer, or make the push rod point closer to the pedal pivot point.
If you can\'t fix it with a hammer, you\'ve got an electrical problem

ie. increase the ratio.

I have the same combination on my 50 pu but have a 327/300hp motor 3.50 rear and 700r4 and put the risidual valve and proportioning valves and a booster  oh ya 11" mustangs discs and its stop darn good and then realized the new booster that came with the dual m/c was defective can't wait to see how it works with the booster working.
