The board no longer remembers me, gotta log in manually each time now. Maybe there's a message in that . . .

Do you allow Cookies on your computer? If you changed any of your internet settings recently it might have blocked the cookies needed to keep you logged in.

Mike I was having that problem too when I was using this link http://www.streetrodtech.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=1 It was a real pain in the butt to have to log in again everytime I viewed a post.

Then I started using this one and it remembers my login  http://www.roddingroundtable.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=1  They both come to the same place.

There is a bug in the software, it won't delete the cookie, and set a new one. You will have to manually delete the cookie, and set a new one with you logged in. To do this, log in, minimise it, go back and delete the cookie, and open a new window with you logged on. That should set the new cookie with you logged in.

Thanks, guys. Nothing personal, Frank, but I'm gonna try George's method first, given my computer-challenged situation.

So much for all the brave talk. I did have to go after the "cookie monsters" when I was logged on and minimized, deleted it, restored the window, captured it as a daily-visit favorite, logged off, and logged back on just like old times!

Imagine what I could do if I knew what I was doing!

Thanks again.

I  still  can't get the streetrodtech address to set a cookie.   I tried it the way you explained and I can delete the cookie but it won't set a new one.  I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I guess it doesn't matter because the roddingroundtable one works so I'll just use that one.   :?

I have both addresses in my favorites but I had Linda set up the "short-cut" using the tech address. On George's suggestion I went into favorites last night and came on using the other address and it logged me on automatically. Did the same thing this morning so I'll have linda change the address my "short-cut" uses. Had troubles trying to figure out what a cookie was. My mind goes automatically to Denise but because I'm a diabetic I have tried to train myself not to go into the subject (cookies not Denise) any further. So now I know where I am and it's OK to be here. GPster

LMAO!!!! Joe you are so funny!!!!!
I guess I'm behind a little, haven't been surfing much lately. I just use my old link at home and it works fine. But at some point do I need to change this, and follow the cookies directions? Will the old RRT link go away?

No Debb, the old link won't go away. And the "new " link won't go away either. Actually the Street Rod Tech link has been active for some time, but it just wasn't publicized. You can get here with either link.

Nope!
