How can that be you ask?

Add a super charger to a 6.0 motor in front of a stock 4L65E tranny....

1200 miles and the tranny is toast, the dealer said "sorry can't help you with the supercharger on there"

The Caddy is on the same hoist as faat rod was.

I watched one of the rod shows yesterday on cable, but don't remember what the name was.  He had a 572 BBC with 620 hp, and said it needed a 400 behind it, that a 700R4 wouldn't handle it.  Maybe Caddy should've stuck with the 400?

plenty of money to go around I guess.

we have a second 2005 4L65E  tranny in the shop from a Hummer H2 with a super charger on it

Interesting item on the trannys I build for these super charged vehicles.... we do NOT warantee any of them.

We put the best parts availible into these trannys.  The GM parts break, like the input drum, the input shaft  , output shaft, intermediate shafts twists.

I've thrown out the idea of cryogenic treating the common breakage parts in a late model 4L65E to see what happens with a turbo or blower.  The powers that be have not bitten yet.

People want these vehicles and are spending some big coin on them.
