Wasting my day away...

I took today off, and decided to just play in the garage. Lots of stuff I should be doing to the cars, but did I do that? Nooooooo! I made a baseball cap out of 20 guage steel instead!   Practiced pattern making, metalworking, and welding. Boy, do I need practice! Fun project, though. Lots of hammering on a leather sandbag, trying to make the bumps in the hat fit the ones on my head. here's a pic - It's pretty nasty, but it was fun!

So make the Ewheel in the tech area, and take the lumps out.

I spent the day making a floor for my van. there was a small hole under the gas pedal, ended up making the floor from the outside of the body to the engine cover, and from the pedals back to the seat. It was a lot worse than I thought.

Your Ewheel is my next project. Then at some point a Helve hammer (Hell-of- a- Hammer!)
Your van sounds like any of my projects. Seems simple, then blossoms into a full-fledged disaster!

Now that you've got the hat roughed in Ralph, put it on and I'm sure you can find someone to beat on it with a hammer til it fits juuuussst rite.
