Bolt on shock mount

Here's a bit which might be helpful to someone, a bolt on shock mount that's beefy and adaptable. This is the front shock mount for F250-350 Ford pickups from 1980-1993, so they're probably going to be around for a while. Ford part number is E5TZ-18183-A, Dorman 523-054. It's long, about 18" overall and built from sturdy stuff. It can be cut shorter, pie cut to give it a different angle, or altered in any number of ways. It may need to have the flanges spread or otherwise clearanced to accommodate a coilover spring. Shop around, they're available online anywhere from $60 per pair to over $100 each.
