I presume that's the spider-style injector? Those things are infamous for the issues you're talking about. There are sources for a version which puts the actual injectors out at the ends of the spider as opposed to the centrally located injectors with poppet valves out at the ends of the spider. Probably not your issue, since you just put a new one in, but I think they're pretty sensitive to sludge in the fuel.

I am going to pull all the plugs and crank it over a bit with  the fuel pump off . Then drain the gas , change the oil , dry the plugs and put a shot of oil in each cyl before i try to fire it again . When I had the manifold top off you could see there was a lot of fuel wash in the back 4 cyl like the spider was leaking at the back or something .

We took the old Chevy for a 100 mile reliability run.  It was reliable.  A good fall drive through the western Missouri Ozarks.

I replaced the front hub on the Dakota that I replaced a few years ago. It was spewing grease pretty good. I bought a Moog for replacement. End of box: China. We'll see. :) It got up to 67 degrees so I took the bike out for a ride. Lots don't ride in the cooler months but I try to ride year around. The DR650 is the only carb I have left outside of yard equipment. I try to keep it exercised properly. LOL.

Got the truck to run. It has a hard time getting the fuel pressure up and when you shut it off it loses pressure fast. 50-55 psi when running . Put a scan tool on and no misfiring at all and air/fuel is at 14.7 as it  should be. Injectors was a good call . I think the pump is bad so hopefully that will do it . This pump has pumped a total of 1 tank of fuel .

C.K., maybe the check valve has debris in it.
Did anybody else see pics of this car at the Pistons and Paint show?

We had first snow here last wednesday.  Couple inches.  By mid day it was gone.  Thursday we had very lite snow most of the day.  Never stuck. It was mid to high 30s here.

My left hearing aid , the wire ear piece has broken. It flops around loose. not good. My right ear is weakest hearing. I run the hearing aid at at full power. For now.  Costco brand hearing aids. Costco is 200+ miles away and you must schedule appointment with them for Anything of hearing aids.  Even a simple drop off of broken aid unit.

Wow, Bill, how would you do bodywork on that car?

Good luck with getting your hearing aid fixed, Tony. Mine are all out of whack, and I don't want to go back to the VA to have them adjusted.  They just don't listen to me when I tell them what's wrong.  I need to find an 'old' audiologist to adjust them for me.

My local propane supplier called me this am and said that they can come and install a new 500 gallon tank for me this morning, and move my present 500 gallon tank to my shop to replace the 120 gallon tank there.  I own both my tanks, but buy all my gas from them, so I'm not worried about having their tank at the house.  I figured a newer tank at the house would be a good selling point when the time comes, plus it is supposed to have wifi capabilities to notify them when it gets low. We're having a backup gennie installed January 2nd, so they will install the piping for that also.  It will be in the 50's today, so a nice day to do outside work.

Wonder what that chevy would look like if it drove through a deep puddle at speed?  ;D . Kind of creative as I have never seen anything like it before .

I saw that car in a one of the mags here at work. She did all that with a hand held plasma torch. It's different I will say that.
You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

That'll weld up.

How-to: Make a doily.

I've always wanted to make a lamp shade out of a pitted perforated floor pan. Don't mean I oughta, necessarily.

O&S replaced the remaining front hub on the Dakota and removed the trans pan. I cleaned it and used gray silicone to install it. I used a gasket 5 years ago and it had failed. As a precaution after the 48's oil pan debacle, I measured the depth of the pan bolt holes to make sure there was adequate depth. :) I had put 15,000 miles on it and the pan was real clean. The 46re has a history of being good or not so much. I wonder if I got a good one? LOL.

Is this position of the outlet a thing back east?  Upside down.  Can not plug in this cord with outdoor weather cover in the way.  I fixed it.

The work shop outlets were alll upside down.  I changed that too.  House outlets are mostly correct.

Tony, those are outlets from New Zealand or Australia.   :)

I always liked the grounding plug on the bottom.  Oh no, Mr. Bill...
