CROSLEY! BobK needs trans help in Phonx AZ

Crosley, BobK called me, he is having trans problems and is in Phonx, AZ right now.  No answer at the home or cell number of Shifts from WI who built the trans for him.  Can you help?  Please PM me with your phone number or call me directly and I'll give you Bob's cell number.

Hmmm Bob.....I need to talk to you about how you timed that tranny problem to happen right where the finest transmission builder in the country is located.   I might try that next summer.  The Rambler has a questionable tranny.

Oh my!!    At least he's in good hands.

I've been getting ready to do a work weekend at the cabin and my network at home took a dump so I haven't been following Bob's adventures very close.

THis case was replaced.  Once I did a full inspection We built a whole different core tranny.

Some cracks can be repaired , others not.  The dowel alignment is the crictical area.  Some times the case will "move" during the welding process( heat & shrinking ) and no longer line up correctly with the engine crank line.  Or may not bolt up to the engine at all.
