I am trying to remove the nylon brake warning switch from a factory brake compensating valve.  I am afraid to apply much heat as I do not want to damage the nylon(plastic) switch.  The switch needs to be removed to install a device to keep the shuttle inside from moving while I bleed the brakes.  I am soaking it over night with some penetrating fluid.  Any thoughts?

I haven't been around one of those. Years ago, we used to bleed one end and then the other and then center the valve. Maybe we just got lucky. The ones I worked on had a pipe thread on the valve.

Solved the problem.

Broke the plastic switch off in the combination valve body. :)

The new combination valve with a new switch will be here Monday
