I did stick a hood on the Buckin Bronco today and crammed the core support over to jive with it. Futzing over driver door and fender now. :)

They painted ( sealer, rock guard, color, satin clear) under the F1 cab Friday, looks like when you first open small curd cottage cheese. He went with the color on his wife's Biscayne roof, a very bright white with shimmery pearl coat. As body color. Yep white underneath. Pics are first Lizard Skin app inside it today. Woohoo

I'm not sure about the accent colors but think its that pewter-ish color same as frame but with some orange highlights on hood.

I do miss the access allowed in the kick panels on an F1. It's good to see progress. :)

Fellow I know in WisConsin used most of a Town Car car to build a Fjord F100 bump side truck a few years back.  Used the complete front suspension , power train (4.6 engine , etc) ..  He buys trucks from Arizona, has them shipped to his place in WI .

He is a "details type guy"  So the wire harness was trimmed up and fitted well. He loves EFI as much as I sorta stay away from it.  LOL

He said the truck drove great. Rode well.  Gutless..  A guy he knew offered the correct amount of $$$ and the truck was gone.

On the way to work today a pickup hauling a trailer overloaded with cut up trees had a limb hanging halfway across the oncoming lane and all I had time to do was duck and cover my face by reflex. Did a number on my fender, windshield, mirror, etc. Big scratch in fender.

I just kept going. Thats how badly my spirit is broken from negligent attacks. Theres no man left to hold anyone accountable. I could be shot if I tried.I should be shot for not. I already am shot. Or something spelled similar. Matt matters is a crock.

Got the second Barfo door to fit today. :)

Quote from: jaybee on December 07, 2023, 06:40:20 AMWow, glad you're OK!

Ha ha.

I wanted to turn around, go to the brush drop off spot and give them a choice of polishing it out with their nose or standing quietly nearby while I select a limb and administer equivalent vehicle damage. But since their vehicle has positive value and mine has negative, their wealth allows them to go unchecked and supports their wrongdoing. I'd be arrested, they would get a pat on the back then go do the same thing again.

On the lighter side,  :)  I just brokered a 100MHz oscilloscope deal between my brother and a coworker. It ain't every day a guy gets to pimp oscilloscopes. Just sayin.

I spent the afternoon liberating this square body Chevrolet.  When it was parked years ago there were no trees in the area.  There was a large grape vine with shoots the size of my arms growing underneath the cab.  I had to get under there with a chainsaw and cut them as they had grown through the frame.  I bet you can guess what I am going to do with this one.

Square bodies go for a princely sum these days, but I'll bet that one is an exception.

Up here in Sodak you can still find some good square body deal as well as the crazy priced ones.

I hauled the first load home today.  Tomorrow I bring more pieces home.  The square body guys may not like what I am going to do to this one.

I've had two and you have my blessing. Might only take issue with a shorty. Nobody can afford to feed those things, sheesh. Theres a nice looking short wide red 80s 4x4 for sale across the highway from work but I can't read the price from that far.

Y'all are fortunate, today was long but mostly pleasant and hardly productive. Slung some ospho, thats about it. Bronco. Pic description below, no ranty walls of text today. :)

Then well just walking past I admired our painter's attention to detail on the ol white F1 fab areas, sealing and priming and all. Top notch.

Lastly, stand at the Bronco and look left... shapes are emerging. I wouldn't like to take any of the current lot home but you guys might dig'm. OK well the 69GT maybe. Just like horses do, they stand close together and its hard to tell just how many yer looking at. The rodent excrement special, its hiding behind the '73 and is in final sanding.

Painting that hood would test me. I have a real small detail gun but it would need a direct hose fitting to be short enough to get in some of those places. I still would miss something. :)

Do you mean not using a swivel coupler?

I think the hood is quite idiotic. Only made a hundred or so images in an effort to avoid that. I didn't know it then but my job description had been changed and input auto-dismissed. A touch up gun air cap might fit into the hood ornament holes. But yeah I don't want my name in a feature on this one. I just made the mistake of posting to show the lovely prep. But anyone capable of thought and sight can see the glaring oversights. I just get comfortable and act wrong, thats what I do. Everything inappropriate.

What I do is create blank slates for others to customize. I had that hood perfected and easily paintable. Then I came in one day and it was hacked very crappily. Just like the Catalina trunk floor, custom fabbed and finished the hacked out with an air chisel.

Don't get me thinking about the job stuff I should sue over.
