Fuel Prices in 2022:

Over nite between friday and saturday morning :  diesel jumped up 20 cents a gallon in my area.  Common price now is $5.19-9 ..

Reports are still blaming refinery problems in callifornia.  Weird how most of the summer I read diesel was 1 dollar higher than regular because there was a shortage of diesel because high demand.

Then regular went crazy again because of refinery troubles out west. Yet gasoline and diesel are produced during the same cracking process from crude oil. At least it used to be. Most of my contacts in the oil refinery business have died

$3.99 at most places around here. We had a refinery fire at the only one close by two weeks ago.

A few stations in  my area  have dropped prices 10 - 20 cents on regular gasoline.  Diesel still remains the same

Diesel fuel dropped 30 cents wednesday , in my area..  Down to $5/09-9 now. Regular gasoline dropped about 4 cents..  Which is all about 2 dollars higher than a couple yrs ago

We just drove down to Florida for two weeks of relative visiting and came back last Thursday / Friday gas in the south was $3.18 until we hit Virginia where it jumped to $3.39 at the border. GPster

Most gas was priced from $3.39 to $3.21 the further south we were. Back home it was $3.89. We got about 16 mpg on the trip down here.

Not much change in fuel prices here on diesel.. mostly around 5 dollar a gallon. Unless you go to a place called Sams Club. Then its in the $4.80s

Regular gasoline is $3.70s at Sams Club and another place called Costco (big box store).  Costco does not sell diesel in AZ that I know of.  Other stations in my area are in the $4.40 to high range of $4.70s for regular grade gasoline

I bought gas in High Point today for $3.09 a gallon.

I bought gas in Parkersburg WV for $2.94 yesterday. Across the Ohio river it was $3.54 in Ohio.

Gas at the Casey's station in my small town is $4.14.  We were in Davenport, Iowa today and got regular for $2.69.

Regular grade gasoline has dropped from 2 - 10 cents at stations near me.  Diesel remains mostly unchanged.

$3.03 a gallon at Sams Club today.

Paid $3.55 at Sams Club this morning.. for regular gasoline.

This evening the Gas Buddy app shows the price at $3.49 a gallon.

Diesel remains the same: $4.97 to 5 dollar a gallon at most stations near me. My truck is gonna need fuel soon.  DEF is not low , but getting there.
