What to do when you can not find upper door hinges for a 26 model T(one year only ) . Make them . Only when I got most of the way finished did my buddy call me to say he had found a pair .

Thats about right... once one commits fully to a laborious Plan B, Plan A falls into one's lap.

Would that be Murphy's Law reversed?  Or straight? I don't know, it's too early to think.

But hey, now you've got a really nice pair of hinges.

I started with a bit of 1x3 solid that I had laying around . Made them both at once to split into 2 pcs when I finally use them . Murphys law seems to always be applied in my shop . Like the bermuda triangle of murphys law here .  I cant tell you how many times I have made something over only to find the original not long after .

At least you found something you already made or bought. I quit looking after a while, thinking to myself: did I pitch it, sell it, or throw it away?
