I just read that Dennis Carpenter passed away yesterday. What a business man. Cushman's, Ford tractors and Ford vehicles are all better off because of his efforts.

Very down to earth person. He will be missed. I hope his legacy continues.

Years ago:  we toured the manufacturing plant where some of the Cushman scooter parts were made in the early days.  He had like 50 Cushman scooters on display.  Also some of the rubber molding products made in the same building.
