The Aunt that has custody of our 3 grandkids has the virus. Her daughter and son in law does too. They all live in one house. The adults had been vaccinated.

Our 2 teenaged grandkids are vaccinated, the 11 yr old is not.

The Aunt has 2 grandkids under age of 5 of her own with her daughter.  the 2 grandkids do not show signs of the virus.

Talked to a neighbor of the park model trailer we are rebuilding. He is one of the near full paranoid folks on the virus. Yet he was not wearing a mask since he is "home"..  He stayed at least 10 feet from me and my wife in the street as we chatted.

I commented that I see some folks wearing masks in their cars alone and parking lots.  He says he wears a mask outdoor because you can catch the virus outdoors too. I asked him if he meant in crowds at outdoor events and he said just anywhere, walking around, the virus can float in the air and spread.

That is a belief shared my many out here, as well.  ....I guess the virus travels as a cloud??

Any bodies guess at some things. I dont question folks with or without masks. No body has commented to me in public on my not wearing a mask.  I dont know their health needs nor they know mine. I have had some "stern" looks from people wearing masks in stores.

Yet when I see a person in a parking lot or alone in a car with a mask on... It just make me wonder what is the reason.  I just go with the health problems they may have.

On the flipp side: my brother and his wife have health problems and will not wear a mask. Till 3 weeks ago they refused any "guberment" vaccine.  Now they want to be vaccinated.  :o  I should ask him if they went forward on vaccine or not.

I told my brother that people are in the hospital with the Fauci - Wuhan virus not because of the vaccine for the virus.  Very few pl have died because they were vaccinated.

If I wear a mask now, I try to have my face cover that looks like a bandit from the old west robbing a train.  I bought one from Lucky Costa that he sold for a while with his logo on it.  ALthough I may try to find a lamp shade that would fit and wear that.

I wonder if people who wear masks in their cars have the same problem that I do. With behind the ear hearing aids, I can't wear the loop type masks that go behind my ears, as they get tangled with my hearing aids, so maybe they just leave them on for the next stop?  I wear the 3M masks, and if I come out of a store with my hands full, it waits til I unload the stuff, as it takes two hands to remove it.

Many Asians have been wearing masks for years, way before covid hit. I don't know what was in the air over there.

When I was in China a few years ago many people wore masks. Our interpreter said it was because of air pollution, which was really bad where we were. A haze in the air all the time with a faint garbage fire smell to go with it. Never saw the sun shining for three weeks.

I am guilty of wearing a mask in my truck.....I also forget to remove my safety glasses until I park in the driveway some days  ;D

I put on my mask in drive throughs, because I'm talking directly face to face with someone and usually a bit loudly. I don't make it a habit to drive with one, but I'm sure people have seen me driving with one because I don't necessarily get in a hurry to take it off once I'm moving. I might also do it if I'm going directly between two places which are close together. The loops sometimes get behind the temples of my glasses, which is a bit annoying. I'm not really worried about being outside, though if I had to be outside for long periods in a crowd I'd mask. I do stand a bit farther away from people than before most of the time, but these days most people do.

yep, I wear behind the ear (BTE) hearing aids and glasses. The loop type mask does not work well for me. That is why I wear the gun slinger style face covering or the gator one piece deal

We are scheduled for the vaccine booster shot  and regular flu shot in a week...    I was at a Walgreens last night about 7:30pm. The pharmacy was near empty. 1 guy waiting on vaccine shot. 2 of us in line for pickup. There are signs still in place about the booster shot available.

We saw this bicycle rider thursday. Seems like the mask may hinder breathing while riding a bike?

My grandson's neighbor, his wife's cousin, is in the ICU with Corvid. He is 31 years old. It doesn't look like he will make it. Not vaccinated. He has a four year old son.
