My last day in the office prior to moving to work from home was Monday. Last time the CEO of my company visited the office he told us restrictions were wrong, that people will have to develop herd immunity naturally the way all animals have for millions of years when faced by a new disease threat.

Now we're mentioned by name every day on the national news and have 4 plants closed. Oops.

Even though they had done a lot to reduce density in the office I'm a little relieved to be working from home.

Some areas need restrictions extended, while other areas do not.

NJ has 300+ deaths/day on average, while NY state has 700+.  ...Northern NJ & NYC need to be cautious while other parts of both states could resume some form of normality.  

Many of the restrictions imposed are stoooopid!  ....Common-sense is lacking on the part of many governors.

In NJ, beaches are closed for walking or surf fishing.  ....Neither activity promotes unsafe distancing.  ...It's still too cold to swim or sunbathe.  

Michigan's governor seems to have over-reacted as well, and distinguished herself by her stupidity.  

Sadly, the carelessness and disregard of guidelines by a few offenders have forced the majority of us to be punished.

I got my $1200 last week and in the old days, would have spent it on wine, woman, and song.
This check came with a note stating in should be used only for CAR PARTS or TOOLS!

I can't understand the $1,200 thing. At all.

wife and I just returned from errands.. which included the grocery store.  My wife is anti mask.  hates them.  She Understands the use , etc. We did not wear mask at the store.  About 50% of the store people had masks on.. Even employees of the store : some had masks, some did not.

Covid19 deaths.  I read too many items about the criteria changes on death reports of Covid19 as the cause when it may have not beeen a cause at all.

Matt:  the 1200 dollars is known as increased national debt. The US gov is printing money they do not have.  It is on citizens (tax payers) backs.

My grand kids , their Aunts ( custodians of the G kids) and the Aunts children are all on gov support (thank you)...  they act like they are winning the lottery with the stimulus money and delayed rent payments. They do not see the light at the end of the tunnel as a train coming at them..  I know in a few months they will ALL be saying stuff like: What? I have to pay that? Now? I dont have any money. You cant evict me.

I'm on the side of the $1200 makes no sense. If you are broke, you will go through 1200 and still be broke. If you have done business well and aren't broke, 1200 is a drop in the bucket. I think they were trying to buy votes because it's an election year. Am I full of dodo???

I saw a news report saying that the majority of folks are 1 weeks pay from broke at any time .

Didn't Obama give everyone $300? I figure its a chest thumping thing. A week from broke ain't far from true. I better not turn onto that conversational road though. Can't send the money back if you don't need it. Everyone at work last week was talking about the stuff they bought with theirs. I don't do anything direct deposit or automatic draft and would just about rather walk than buy online. And I don't think for a minute that the 1200 is free money. Or real money. And I don't think we have seen the full effect yet. I do think we will, and thats when the fake 1200 will come in handy. Chins up!

Talking to my brother..  His wife needs new glasses.  She has a prescription. She has the money.  Nobody local will take an order for new glasses.

We can visit the local Lowes, golf course is open, buy lotto tickets.  Can not get new lens cut for glasses.  She had the eye exam before the lock down. They did not have the extra cash till a month later.  It was too late, the lock down happened

In the Town of Queen Creek AZ... the genius city folks had the bike park filled with sand like the DIM Wits in Callifornia did. Queen Creek gov officials realized their mistake after one day of push back from residents.  LOL

It looks like there may be a shortage of pulmicort , a medication for asthma used for emergency inhalers . Saw that on last nights news.

We experienced first hand the hazards of ordering groceries online for just 2 people. (a little mix up in the quantity requested)  It looks like we will need to check Amazon and see if we can order a monkey.
