C.K., that is surprising. I wouldn't have thought they would make the effort. I have a statement I call the "crazy man" theory. If you see something and say you don't understand, that is a good thing. The only way to understand crazy is to be crazy also. :)

Three weeks ago I got the first shot. The next morning I woke up with a rash in my left arm pit, the arm the shot was in. I didn't think much about it, I've had a rash like this before, and the next day it was gone.

So yesterday I had my second shot, and woke up with the rash back. I do have some allergies to certain medicines, so I guess what was in that shot contained one of them. It's better tonight, but the first time I didn't make the connection.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Mrs Bee got her first shot of Pfizer's finest. She felt a little blah yesterday, but nothing serious. My second will be next Friday.

Quote from: "50 F1"We got our first Moderna shot Thursday. Sore arms, that's about it.
Ever since this started and the news was talking about vaccines my wife and I have never thought about not getting the vaccine.
But our closest friend is a anti vaccine person, and listens to all the radical news and believes everything he reads on the Book. We have had some heated talks. He is a good friend so we just avoid the subject now.

My Brother is one of the anti vaccine radicals. He goes on and on about how I am going to grow an extra arm or some other equally nonsensical abnormality.  He also is a Political Radical and he use to go on and on about politics. He knew how to spark a reaction in me and it was almost a pastime for him!  We had it out about 10 years ago and I told him he had a choice, he could continue to be an * in which case he would no longer be welcome in my home.  He thought about it for a month and then came over to my house and made a passionate plea for my forgiveness. We both agreed to end hostilities and not talk about politics any more.  He still jabs me once in a while and I jab back but stop before it escalates.  He gets so passionate about his beliefs but I told him flat out I won't accept his force feeding me his beliefs.  We get along much better these days but there are some conversations I will not get involved in...  Ahhhhh Family....don't ya just love them!! 8)

I got my appointment for April 1 . I am considered a medical priority . Currently we are vaccinating age 62 and older . I am now told a city 2 hours to the south of us has more cases of the variant strains than all of the rest of Canada COMBINED. 80% of the cases in that city are people under 40 years old.

Arizona Governor Doug raised eyebrows this week.  He removed most restrictions on businesses on mask requirements and number limits on groups gathering together.  He says each business can decide on what they require customers to wear a mask or not.

The larger cities mayors are against this action. They feel it is too soon yet.

On the vaccine front; AZ health dept is setting up for indoor vaccine injections.  It gets hot here, so indoor will be better as the heat arrives soon.

My wife and I have received the 2nd dose of Pfiezer vaccine.

Watching the Barrett-Jackson Auction from Scottsdale on the History Channel. Lots of people, most with masks, some without. Actually good to see something also at normal. Stupid, I mean Super Saturday prices for some cars. $250,000.00 for a '70 Chevelle? Nice but not a quarter million nice.

The state dropped our mask restrictions as of yesterday, as promised since numbers did what they wanted. :)

I got my shot yesterday.

Arizona Gov Doug has reduced restrictions again...  Of course you have folks happy and upset on each side of the fence.  Traffic in recent weeks has returned to heavy normal on most freeways and roads.  So , I think many more people have returned to work.

Also;  AZ opened up the vaccine to 16 or 18 year old and older.. I guess each vaccine has a lowest age suggestion?

That age change caused a large surge of people to sign up and many folks just drove to the vaccination sites with no appointment , so they were turned away.

Volunteer help numbers have slowed down, so vaccine wait times jumped up 1 or 2 hours in line , sitting in your car. Angry people. Happy people.  LOL

More paid personnel were sent to the vaccine locations.  Nation Guard folks were called in to assist.

Well, Michigan has become the number one state in new Covid cases, and I think the county I live in is here highest  in the state. We were doing so well just a few weeks ago, at one point there was a day with fewer than 1,000 new cases and zero deaths. Now we are over 6,000 new cases a day! I don't know what changed. Locally they have closed the middle and high schools and several restaurants have voluntarily closed. I know 4-5 people personally who have gotten Covid in the last week, including three who work at the Gallery I have pieces at and work one afternoon a week at. I am grateful that I have both my shots and am more than three weeks past the second one.

The gov. of Kansas had issued and order to extend the mask mandate. The legislature has an oversight committee  that voted to overturn the rule. We're averaging around 250 new cases everyday. Vaccinations are available to everyone 18 and older. Time will tell. :)

My second dose was yesterday. During the evening I had a painfully tight neck and shoulders. I knocked it back with ibuprofen and all has been well today.
