My exhausting is real poor compared to Moose. :)
I used the 6 cyl. pipe and one of the 88 flanges for the right side. The left side has a universal spigot and then is made up from a Speedway j bend. I wanted to weld the left side to the spigot instead of using a clamp but I'm not sure I would be able to feed it through the 2 cross members to install it. I tried to purchase the same mufflers that are on the 51. They were back ordered. I bought the next longer size in the Walker line. It's pretty quiet. Now you can here the power steering pump screaming like a civil defense alert. :)

O&S made a little progress this afternoon. The fedex man delivered the new radiator. I bought a Champion. It was around $10 more than the plastic and alum. versions. I took the original power steering pump partially apart and installed new seals. It's on the truck and it works properly without the civil defense siren noise. :) The radiator is mounted and is in need of a shroud. I have one that I'm going to attempt to make work. The point of the video is: quiet. No strange noises, just a weak stock engine idling. :)

Double or triple the length on engine run  videos.  Just a suggestion.

Yup. Even blown up engines will run that long. :D

I was trying to limit the amount of time I was using from everybody. :)

O&S had a few hours this afternoon for the project. I had this fan shroud leftover from some vehicle. I took 2" out of it and made simple brackets to bolt it to the radiator. I ran out of bolts so they don't match each other.

Fedex brought the rest of the parts I ordered to finish the mechanical side of the truck. New alternator and starter are installed. The upper radiator hose is on and radiator filled. The clutch fan is working and the shroud is doing it's part. There is no noise from the power steering pump. I haven't re-checked the timing yet and it is in the initial warm up to allow the ecu to learn. :)

Restraint went by the way side. 3 block trip. :)

That "snick-snick" sound of a gear change just feels sooo good in the hand.

Very small update: I swapped engine computers this afternoon. I put my ebay purchase in and I believe that it fixed 2 small issues. :)

I spent a lot of today cleaning the shop and getting ready to convert from grease ball to paintball. :) I brought the bumper in and worked on straightening it some. The press I used was jacking up one wheel of the truck and sitting the tire on the bumper in a couple of places. It's way better. There were 2 wrinkles in the right side frame horns. The left side didn't have those so I guessed they shouldn't be there. I tried using a c clamp and wasn't making much progress. I remembered that I bought a hydraulic wire crimper for using the hydraulic pump. By removing one die and doing some shimming, I was able to remove the wrinkles in just a bit. :) It's not perfect but better than it was. There's a twist in the frame that is beyond my equipment to remove. It's a 1/4" on the front and a 1/2" on the rear.

I started out to blast many parts today. The wind got too high so only the front fenders got blasted. They are ready for bondo, now.

Yesterday I sandblasted three of the plastic wheel centers on the Ranger. I had done one a couple of weeks ago to experiment.  The plastic chrome was peeling.  I painted them Krylon flat black and then add a 3" peep mirror.  I spent less $10 to upgrade 4 wheels.  Just call me cheap and easy.

It must have been the day for sandblasting.  I used my whole garb to keep the sand out and still got some in my eye.  Flushed it out with water and all is well.
