Dave, is that a nomad wheel well or a front fender trimmed to fit?

Looks like the stock opening was moved up. Nomad is higher and shaped differently.

The ones that were on there were front fenders and I did not like them. The new ones are aftermarket Nomad wheel wells. The originals handyman wagons would have been a  rectangle with  radius corners.

Thanks Don. I think you said you would be driving yours this year..... That puts you way ahead of me.

Tuesday is 1 week post op for my wife full knee replacement surgery.

At the PT on monday morning, the PT gal had my wife sit on a chair..  surgical leg bent at 90 degrees.  She asked my wife to slide her foot back as far as she could , bending the knee and ankle further. My wife did that.  The PT gal literally said holy crap.  My wife has more movement in her knee than the PT gal had seen in 1 week post op for my wifes age group. (over 60).

Crosley , that is great news . Today I installed timing chain and gears , I like to soak a roller chain in oil for a day before installing as I have heard that a roller chain installed dry will likely stretch more on start up until oil gets into the pins than if it has oil already there . Probably overkill but I am not flat rate . I also used the dial indicator and found TDC . I referenced it from oil pan rail to balancer as I need to make or buy a timing marker so I can set it to TDC off my oil pan rail until then . The balancer is an sfi unit , all aluminum fully degreed (innovators west). I brazed the oil pump pickup and went to install the oil pan but had to stop . I have a nice aluminum oil pan but the flanges are as thick as the oil pan bolts are long. I will get allen head fasteners tomorrow and cinch up the pan . I just scored an oval finned (9 fins like my valve covers) air cleaner with element from an ad on kijiji . It is for twin 4bbl but I can make a bottom insert to make it single carb . looks like a K&N filter on it .

If your T sits low and will be driven much, you may want to reconsider the aluminum pan.

My steel pan has about 4" ground clearance, and TWICE  I managed to unscrew the side-mounted drain plug entering driveways.

Bruce the pan is 1" or more above the bottom of the 4 bar mounts I would have to measure but it is up there . Not a low car as it is full fendered . front edge of running board is nearly 6" off the ground.

I needed to run irrigation plumbing under a concrete walk.  I prepared a piece of steel pipe by pointing one end and sealing the other  end to make a hard surface to pound with a large sledge hammer.  I dug a trench to lay the pipe.  Where I live there is more rock than there is dirt.  Digging any kind of a hole is a job in itself.   I drove the pipe through under the concrete.  This actually went well and only took about a half hour and a glass of lemonade.  Each end of the pipe was sticking out of each side of the concrete walk.  I used my sawzall to cut the ends off the pipe.  Job done.  I got attaboy points on that one.

Then I went to the shop and worked on some hot rod stuff.

A good day even if you are quarantined.

Since we bought this Samsung laptop computer 8 yrs ago ... Win 10 ver1 ..  I have not been able to adjust the screen brightness. On a/c power the screen was 100% on battery power it would drop to 50% brightness and I could hardly use it at 50% brightness. You move the little slide bar thingy to adjust brightness with little to no results

Last week: the screen went very bright to almost a washed out look.. So I chased down some driver updates like I have done previously.  This lack of screen brightness control was a problem discussed on the interweb for years.

BOOM! The updates I recently down loaded and installed actually work!

Finished another painting today. Acrylic on hard board 16" X 24". The Hon. James L. Oberstar, my former neighbor was her Captain for years. This scene is of her coming in off Lake Huron into the St. Clair River, less than a half mile from my house, the bridges connect the U.S. and Canada and are known as the Blue Water bridges.

I don't know what's going on with the fuel sending units in my Chevy. I replaced the original a a year or so ago with one from ebay. Never thought I'd find one for a 58 Chevy wagon. It died last fall. I found another on ebay with a 10 year warranty, September of last year. It failed last month. I may have gotten them from the same place as they look the same, but I can't find the papers for the first one.

The brass float on the first one cracked in three places. I installed the new one, then soldered up the float and kept it. I removed the new one today, and the brass float has also cracked. Last week, I ordered a modified float from ebay that has a different material added to a half brass float. The second unit is also a bit rusty on the sending unit, where the first one isn't. I use Instead-0-lead and Stabil in my two old cars, and the Ford doesn't have any problem. Also, I use premium non-ethanol gas in them.

I'm going to contact the ebay seller, but does anyone have any ideas?
