I am installing a 1977 351 Windsor engine into a 1951 Victoria. I have some questions on the electrical wiring. site. The engine I am using has a stock Ford Duraspark II distributor and Ignition module which I want to use. My problem is that I don't know how to wire it in. The distributor has a connector going to the module and the module has another connector going to somewhere in the electrical system. Do I need to use the module or just the distributor? Where do the wires go? If anyone has used this distributor in a swap I'd appreciate some help in hooking it up. Thanks for any info.

It's easy. There are two wires coming from the module to the body wiring harness.  A red, or red with a white stripe, and a White. red goes to the ignition switch, and white goes to the starter solenoid ign. terminal. If it starts and stalls when you quit cranking, reverse the wires.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

enjenjo,

Thanks a bunch. That's exactly the info I was looking for.
