Saw it Friday, excellent movie. Stumbled on an interview today of Carroll Shelby on YouTube from about 1998. He talked about that time period. I don't want to be a spoiler for those that haven't seen the movie yet, so let's just say that when they state the movie is "based on a true story" some events were combined and facts changed for dramatic effect, many scenes were true.  Very interesting interview of Carroll Shelby. Look for Carroll Shelby-the Lost Interview /Ford v Ferrari/LeMans/GT40/Complete Life History

My wife and I both enjoyed the movie this afternoon.

The movie seemed to go quicker than all the pre-feature crap we had to sit through.

I got tickets to the movie this evening at the new theatre in town that serves food. I haven't been in a movie theatre for probably ten years, there hasn't been anything I needed to see! 😄 Looking forward to this.

Saw the movie last night, I thought it was good. If you know the story you know there's some gaps in it, but the movie would have to be another hour long to fill them in. Not sure that Matt Damon was the right casting for Carrol Shelby, but if you didn't know who he was it would be fine. Loved the car stuff though! 👍

Saw the movie today. Thought it was good. Even the wife enjoyed it cause she likes true stories. Watched the YouTube clip also and it was good.

I enjoyed the movie a lot and my wife liked it too. IMO it was close enough to the true story for a movie. After all, they always take some liberties. I liked the recurring theme of the perfect lap. It really is an obsession with race drivers and it's something which requires a fair bit of explanation to the general public.
